Combobox

A combobox is a kind of input widget with an associated popup. This article deals with a combobox that presents a list of options in the popup. The combobox element may be editable, in which case it may also include autocomplete functionality and/or automatic filtering of the list of options. If the combobox is not editable, then it is referred to as a select-only combobox and is functionally equivalent to a select element.
